Every file in the source folder was downloaded, decoded, measured, and assigned a stable archive ID.

SHA-256 identifies exact copies. A conservative perceptual-hash threshold flags visually similar candidates for human review.

Curate before release

A visually diverse pilot supports metadata work. Rights, attribution, language, context, and sensitivity remain human decisions.
